On March 15, 2021, the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Tagum shared on its FB page the adoption of Resolution No. 1125, Series 2021, which allowed the Mayor of the City to acquire mobility assets for the city in support of the Mindanao Railway. The resolution was described as follows.
RESOLUTION NO. 1125, S-2021
“A Resolution authorizing Hon. Allan L. Rellon, DPA, PhD, City Mayor, to utilize funds transferred by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for the purchase of motor vehicles for the implementation of Mindanao Railway Project: Tagum-Davao-Digos: (MRP-TDD) Segment.”
A corresponding entry for this on the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) has not yet been identified as of writing.
On the 17th of November, the city inducted three (3) Mitsubishi L300 utility vehicles into service. Specifically for the Mindanao Railway Project. City revealed this on their FB page. Click the images below to enlarge.
