This is one of eight stations that will form Phase 1 of the Mindanao Railway Project. This station will also serve as a terminal and depot for the High Priority Bus System (HPBS).

This article is divided into the following sections:

Integration with the High Priority Bus System

Key to the success of the railway is successful integration with other transportation systems. The DOTr was clearly aware of this fact, and has designed designed this station as an inter-modal station between itself and the High Priority Bus System (HPBS).

An email exchange, shown on the left, between the DOTr and a community member that was following up on the status of their property provided insight into this integration. The diagram on the right is a snippet from DOTr document about the project.

Location

The station and its associated parking structures and spaces cover an area of 93,671 sq.m spanning the barangays of Crossing Bayabas and Bato in Toril, Davao City. The station is situated along the Bayabas-Eden road.

Using the official map above, it is possible to create a sketch of how the station would look on Google maps. It is important to note that this sketch is for informational purposes and is not meant to be used as a basis for individual property identification. Yellow line represents that railway alignment.

Layout

The design plan shows how the design consultant, ARUP, laid out the allocation of the land.

On November 26, 2021, the DOTr held a pre-bid conference for the High Priority Bus System (HPBS) where they showed design plans for all the HPBS stations. Among them was the Toril terminal. The following diagram shows the Toril terminal superimposed over the original ARUP plan above.

What it looks like

There are no available artist renderings for this station, which is described as an "intermediate" station. It is neither a terminal station or a depot.
